An original socialist-era leather folder from the Mongolian People's Republic, decorated with deep blind tooling and fitted with a brass snap clasp. A characteristic piece of Ulaanbaatar leather craft from the MPR period, produced as an official and presentation gift item, circa 1960s–1980s.
