Pokemon Shiny Treasure ex Set Overview

Shiny Treasure ex, released on Dec 1 2023, is the Japanese version of Paldean Fates. As a special set, each box contains 10 packs of 10 cards, with this set's special feature being the 129 regular shiny cards you can pull on top of Art Rares and Secret Rares.
Unlike English sets, Japanese sets like Shiny Treasure ex guarantee a couple of Art Rares and at least one Secret or Ultra Rare in a booster box. Add to it the Shiny cards, the booster packs can be a lot of fun to rip, with pulls every few packs.
In the English Paldean Fates, the shiny versions of the Paldean Starters (Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly) were relegated to being promo cards. In Shiny Treasure ex, you can pull them by ripping packs.
Apart from the starters and a few other cards, another card which was made into a promo in Paldean Fates is the shiny Mimikyu Art Rare which features a shiny Mimikyu snuggled up in a blanket.
The set features plenty (129) regular shiny cards in addition to shiny full art ex cards, and the Secret Art Rares of shiny Mew ex, shiny Gardevoir ex, and shiny Charizard ex.
As is the case with many Japanese sets, the "Waifu" card in this set, Iono, the Levincia Gym Leader, is one of the most expensive cards in Shiny Treasure ex. Apart from featuring Iono, a variety of other Pokemon also appear in the vibrant card.
In the last two weeks, Ebay prices for the card averaged around S$113, with the most recent sale as of 6/9/2024 being for S$71. Currently, most listings put the card at around S$127 to S$170.
Beating Iono is shiny Charizard ex, averaging at around S$129.6 on Ebay as of 6/9/2024 in recent weeks. Most listings and sales of the Charizard however are PSA10 graded slabs selling for around S$200. Currently the raw card is listed at around S$135 while PSA10 slabs are listed at around S$210. A fan favourite, this Charizard is shiny and has terrastalised into a dark type Pokemon.
